When unpacking a new shirt or sweatshirt, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don’t worry, that’s not unusual, it’s from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it’s not permanent. Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment. All inks used are water-based and eco-friendly. The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash.
No Matter the Wreckage Unisex T – white
This thick soft tee with unisex cut, features the complete chapter index illustrations for Sarah’s collection No Matter the Wreckage, as drawn by Sophia. Each of the 72 drawings—from the toothbrush to the mangoes—hints at a poem in the chapter it precedes. Sarah has not-so-secretly always dreamed of being a Poetry Detective, and if you can figure out which illustration is a clue toward which poem, you too might be on your way. We love the fit and feel of this unisex cut t-shirt, and are tickled that it’s a way to wear around a whole map of No Matter the Wreckage.
